Surfs Up!

I want to brag for a second. Not that I'm on vacation this week. No, it's not that at all. My brag today is that we managed to drive to our destination without stopping once to eat, or pee or stretch our legs! No sir! One straight shot! 175 miles in less than three hours. Holy crap, did we hit a wormhole? Not only that, we managed to drop off the dog, do all of our packing and leave the house relatively clean this morning. Sweet Georgia Brown, we did all that in one day! Do you believe in miracles? YES! Sorry, Al Michaels.

Although right before we got to the hotel, we did stop at the liquor store. But that doesn't count! I'm going to enjoy this little victory today, most likely because world war three will most likely start by the end of July. But who knows, maybe the Iranians will say, "You know Donny, you were right about everything, we're totally sorry. Expect some flowers and chocolates in the mail sometime next week!"

Don't expect much out of old Uncle Ray this week. I'm enjoying a little R&R and a lot of booze. I hope the lawns don't grow to much while I'm gone...but to be honest, I really don't care.

Time for these hairy chicken legs to get a little sun!
