On the Up and Up

So it seems Donald Trump is going to accept a luxury Boeing 747 jumbo jet worth approximately 400 million dollars from the Royal family of Qatar. Apparently displeased at Boeing for taking too long to finish the new Airforce One, he feels it would be much safer if he got one from an Oil Rich nation in the Middle East. Nothing suspicious about that at all!

As a matter of fact, when the Qatar Royal Family gave me my 747, I can assure you it was totally on the up and up. I didn't even have to buy oil from them! And I promise, when my career is over, I will donate it to my library to avoid that silly Emoluments clause that has hampered us average Americans long enough!

(History lesson to ensue! The Constitution's Emolument Clause prohibits any person holding office from accepting "any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatsoever, from any King, Prince, or Foreign State without Congressional consent.)

Trump stooge and White House Lawyer David Warrington concluded it was completely legal to accept the jet as long as it ends up at the Trump presidential library before his term ends. Once again completely bypassing Congress. Solid legal theory...if you went to Douchebag University of Law. I think maybe I might throw on a MAGA hat and rob a bank and see what happens. Because apparently when you do, nothing is illegal.

Keep draining that swamp. I can't wait to see this airplane sitting in the parking lot of the eventual Trump Presidential library. What a fucking joke.

I thought it would be a little bigger for the price tag, but I'll take it!!
