It is with a heavy heart, and a light beer, that we mourn the loss of actor George Wendt. At 76 years young, George, better known to the world as Norm from the hit television show Cheers has passed on to the great barstool in the sky. If you don't know who this man is, then shame on you...go educate yourself on the YouTube for a good laugh.

George, or Norm as I knew him was one of the reasons I ended up being a bartender. My father and I used to watch Cheers every Thursday night, and even took a weekend trip up to Boston to see the famous Bull and Finch Pub which the show was based on. I had many customers like him over the years and they were always my favorites.

I hope Coach is up there waiting for you with an iced cold beer. At least Vera finally knows where you are now! Thanks for the laughs.

Say it ain't so. Who the hell is Clavin going to talk to now?
