Oh, Shit!

It occurred to me while sitting on the throne for the second time this morning, that human life is just year after year of cleaning up poop.  Think about it for a moment…most people wipe their own asses on a daily basis, and in my case today, twice.  If you have kids, you clean up their poop for at least a few years until they can do it themselves; and even then you may have to begrudgingly lend a helping hand from time to time.  Of course you’ll have to get into the diaper game again if you have grandchildren! 

If you have pets…well you keep thin plastic bags on your person at all times in case they decide to pop a squat on your perfectly manicured lawn (or your neighbors).  If you’re lucky enough, and life really decides to reward you for all your hard work, you get to clean your parents’ shit, or worse yet, your spouse!  Eventually, if you hobble around this planet long enough, somebody will end up wiping your ass too…thus finally ending your long, poop cleaning life by passing it off to the next generation.  Ah, the circle of life!
