As horror stories begin to mount concerning the White House's demand that all Federal workers return to work and end remote working immediately, I find it curious that the man who made this bold initiative doesn't follow it. We already know he doesn't pay income taxes and pats himself on the back for it. We already know he has been convicted of 34 felonies by a jury of his peers and serves no jail time. We already know he refuses to follow a Federal judges orders, the Supreme court and the Constitution...so why would it surprise us that the tyrant king himself doesn't abide by a ruling he himself instituted?
No, instead he spends countless hours on the golf course. He conducts his business from his "home office" in Maralago. He fiddles about in his second "home office" in Bedminster, NJ. And he even sends text messages and takes phone calls during the Pope's fucking funeral! The audacity of this mother fucker...excuse my language. But I really hope, if there is a God, that he's taking notes. Or failing that, the Universe is keeping tabs on his Karma! My lord, when is the comeuppance? When will we get to that part in the movie where the asshole rich kid gets put in his place by the loveable group of losers who band together to fight the powers that be?
Here it is, the directive, word for word...pulled directly from the Whitehouse website.
Heads of all departments and agencies in the executive branch of Government shall, as soon as practicable, take all necessary steps to terminate remote work arrangements and require employees to return to work in-person at their respective duty stations on a full-time basis, provided that the department and agency heads shall make exemptions they deem necessary.
This memorandum shall be implemented consistent with applicable law.
Isn't the tyrant king the Head of a department? A head of an agency? In the executive branch of government? Huh, seems to me like he should be hunkered down in the oval office from 9-to-5, don't you agree? And if not, does that mean I can conduct my meeting from the golf course too? Maybe set up my laptop in the old country club dining room for my zoom call? Perhaps ask the priest at my Aunt's funeral to shut the fuck up while I'm trying to give a presentation?

Keep draining that swamp. Different rules for different people, I suppose. I've always said, it's a rich man's world, we just live in it.
