Christ-easters Unite!

It sure is touching to see all these candle lit vigils and prayer services for the departed Charlie Kirk. Thousands have crawled out of the woodwork to honor a man they probably didn't even know existed until somebody put a bullet through his neck and killed him a week or so ago. I must admit, I didn't know who the hell he was! A quick Google search solved that mystery.

It's the same courageous folks who manage to leave their comfy living rooms on Christmas and Easter to pray to their God...those two days a year. The bigger question is being asked by the local pastor and his collection plate as they both wonder where the hell did all these people come from and where are they the other 50 Sundays of the year? I mean, with this sort of turnout, the church can finally put in that Olympic sized pool and training facility they've been pining for.

The Lord sure does work in mysterious ways.

And on the seventh day, he rested with a pina colada and a dip in the crystal blue waters of his new heated pool. Amen.
