Building Better Bananas

While billionaire Howard Lutnick, the head of the Treasury Department has been tasked with building better bananas, and "building" them right here in the good old USA...another more pressing issue has cropped up. This weekend, people in Los Angeles have reached a breaking point. After 44 people were detained by ICE agents, including Union president David Huerta, protests and riots have started to break out.

The proverbial straw has broken the camel's back. The people have had enough and are standing up to the strong arm of authoritarian leadership. As we see Trump's secret police (who hide their faces in tactical gear like storm troopers from Star Wars) beat people, shoot tear gas at them and use flash grenades it evokes scenes not too different from Disney's latest hit Andor. A series which portrays how Republics are slowly and methodically changed into Military states in what seems like the blink of an eye.

Captain combover has already deployed 2000 California National Guard troops to coral its own citizens. Pete Hegseth, current Secretary of Defense and former Fox News Host has put the Unites States Marines on full notice to be ready to squash the insurrection. How scary is that? We're now thinking about deploying our own troops to fight our own people! It may not be happing in your neighborhood right now, but what's to say it won't?

And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Trump make insurrection legal when he pardoned over 3000 people who stormed the Capitol Building all those years ago? They destroyed government property! They caused the untimely deaths of five people, including police officers. They resisted arrest, they interrupted a government proceeding because they were bummed their candidate lost. But now that's legal, right? So why come down with the hard hand of the law for those in Los Angeles?

All you have to do is bring in a few truckloads of MAGA hats and some Trump flags and pass them out. Then it's totally legit! No laws being broken then! Think of all that money you'll save over deploying 2000 National Guard members, or the US Marine Corps. Of course the hats and flags will be a little more expensive with tariffs and all, but still, the cost saving measure would make the Department of Government Efficiency proud...smile from ear to ear they will!
