Brewster's Trillions

I feel like we're watching the sequel to Richard Prior's 1985 hit Brewster's Millions. If you're not familiar with the movie, a washed up minor league baseball player must spend 30 million in thirty days in order to inherit $300 Million Dollars. He has some crazy rules to follow, such as he's not allowed to own anything, give the cash away, destroy it or tell anybody about the deal. So basically he has to make the most absurd and horrific business deals and watch them go up in flames to win the ultimate prize. I won't give away any more in case you haven't seen it, but I will say, it seems like we're watching that play out right now.

This time of course, we're not talking millions, we're talking trillions! Since the tyrant king Donald has taken over the White House, he has helped piss away 10 trillion dollars in wealth with his horrific and unnecessary tariffs. Which we now know is based on nonsensical and completely made up numbers from his Algonquin round table of Maga nitwits he's surrounded himself with.

Much like Nero, the famed emperor of Rome who played the fiddle on the roof of his estate while he watched the city burn to the ground...Trump decided to play golf yesterday in Florida while the world's money burned to a crisp. Not only did he play golf, but he attended a closed door dinner with his business partners for the Saudi owned LIV golf Association. All to the tune of some 4 million dollars of tax payer money.

Yesterday was the 20th time this asshole has played golf since January 20th. It was also the 16th time playing at his West Palm Beach resort. That brings the total of taxpayer money pissed away for this to just around 30 million dollars when you factor in flights, security detail and hotel accommodations for the entire entourage. Did I forget to mention the 300% upcharge his own facilities are charging the government for these excursions? No?

Now, putting all money and our retirement plans (or what is left of them) aside, the absolute worst thing this draft dodger did yesterday was skip the ceremony honoring four soldiers who died in a horrific training accident over seas this week. All so he could play golf, make more back room deals and line his pockets with more taxpayer money.

Listen, I get supporting the man on your ticket, I do. And I've turned a blind eye to actions in the past with my own candidates (i.e. Bill Clinton's escapades with cigar tubes and what not) but at what point does the Maga base wake up? More importantly, at what point do normal conservative Republicans wake up and smell the fucking coffee with this assclown?

Keep draining that swamp.
